DJ Gils

An up and coming artist from the Bristol Drum n Bass scene, DJ Gils releases his debut single on Usurp records. Joining producer and collaborator Mark Day as the second Drum n Bass artist on the label, 'Key of G' is jazzy slice of uplifting DnB perfect for the summer.
Prior to this solo incarnation, DJ Gils started working with Nick Toots and Mark Day and put together a demo under the name Ringleader. They were signed by the EZ-Rollers on their Intercom label. 'Enough is Enough' was played on Radio One by Zane Lowe and made 'Single of the Week'. Influenced by hometown artists such as Full Cycle and Portishead, it was the music of Photek that inspired DJ Gils into writing music. DJ Gils releases his debut single 'Key of G' with Usurp on 17th August 2009.
