Mark Day writes one tune every 23 years and it only takes him 2 hours. It's the only way he can work. After that 2 hour period it takes him 22 years and 10 months messing around with the piece until he's happy with it then he starts another. It's worth noting that because of his origins, 23 earth years is only about 2 months in his time (he's currently 4968 Earth years old!). He does alot of work whilst travelling, finishing his last piece 'Montana' during a trip to W Cephei which is one of our galaxy's largest red supergiants. He's back on earth now and has decided to put some more works onto its famous www.

After DJing for years, I got into making music in about '98 when my friend DJ Gils and I bought a Yamaha A3000 Sampler, an Atari ST and a keyboard and started writing drum and bass. In 2000, we started writing vocal tunes under the name 'Ringleader'. We were signed in 2003 by Intercom records (with the EZ Rollers) and released 2 tunes with them. The first tune 'Enough is enough' was played extensively on all the major radio stations, with Zane lowe playing it 14 times, making it 'Tune of the week' and 'Hottest tune in the world right now'.

The second release was a tune called '1000 tears' which came out on a compilation album. The band has since split up, although a lot of that material is still waiting for a new home when the time is right. Right now I have various projects going on: my own tunes which are featured here on this page from which I have had playouts from Offshore recordings and Haze from Red mist Recordings as well as 'unknown exception' featuring on a Hospital records 'democast' podcast.

I'm also working on another Drum and Bass project called 'GM beats' a Breaks project with DJ Mag1. I'm also in a weird, highly original electronic/live band called Dayward (check my top friends) which consists of myself and Moochild and sometimes featuring Ladyraz. As well as all that, I often lend a hand to Bristol band 'The Boots', recently having toured Japan (in November '07) and have also produced a track for the new album which was released in Japan in November '07
